RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT

 

Rules of the Football Tournament, part of the SOUTH BLACK SEA CUP 2024

 

1. All games are going to be played on a standard size football field, according to the rules of  FIFA. Only the games in the tournaments for the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 age groups, as well as the mini football tournaments, are going to be played on a smaller size football fields. 

 

2. The participating teams are going to be separated into groups, depending on the age of the players. Once placed into a group, each team is going to play against all of the teams placed in the same age group.

 

3. In case there are too many teams in a certain age group - more than one group is going to be formed. After the group matches, the teams in each group will continue to the round of direct eliminations.

 

4. The winner-team in the matches from the group stage gets 3 (three) points and if there is a draw – each team gets 1 (one) point. The loosing-team gets 0 (zero) points.

 

5. The team with the most points in each group will be declared “winner of the group”. And if there are no other teams in the same age group – will be declared “winner of the tournament”. If two or more teams have equal number of points, the following regulations will be applied, made in order depending on their importance:

    - The result from the match between the teams with equal number of points

    - Goal difference

    - More scored goals

 

6. In the round of direct eliminations, in case of a draw result – teams will do a penalty shoot-out, no extra time will be played! Each team will shoot 5 (five) penalties and if after that there is still no winner – teams will shoot more penalties, until there is a game-winner!

 

7. Each team will be allowed to do unlimited number of substitutions. A substituted player is allowed to come back in play during the same match!

 

8. A player, whom has been given a red card, would leave his/her team with a man down for the rest of the game. A player with a red card is allowed to play in the next match!

 

10. Duration of the games:

      - Two 25 minute halves – for the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 age groups

      - Three 15 minute halves – for the 2014 and 2015 age groups

      - Two 20 minute halves - for 2016 and 2017 age groups

      - Two 20 minute halves – in the Mini Football Tournament

      - Two 25 minute halves – in the Girls’ Tournament

 

11. Number of the football players in the different age groups:

        - In the Tournament for the 2016 and 2017 age groups - 5 players (4+1)

        - In the Тournaments for the 2014 and 2015 age groups - 7 players (6+1)

        - In the Тournament for the 2013 age group - 9 players (8+1) 

        - In the Тournaments for the 2010, 2011 and 2012 age groups - 11 players (10+1)

        - In the Mini Football Tournaments - 6 players (5+1)

 

12. The schedule of the tournament is going to be made and announced by the Organizing Committee, on the Technical Conference, which is going to take place on the opening day of the tournament. The schedule of the football tournament will depend on the number of the teams participating in each age group!

 

The schedule of the tournament is going to be made in a way, which would allow each team to play as many matches as possible. The aim of the organizers is to give each team the opportunity to play between 4 (four) and 6 (six) games during the competition! Which means 1 (one) match per day! The Organizing Committee keeps the right to change the rules of the football tournament, but only in case there are unpredicted circumstances or under an agreement with the participating teams!

 

 

Rules of the Volleyball Tournament, part of the SOUTH BLACK SEA CUP 2024

 

1. All games are going to be played on a standard size volleyball ground, according to the rules of FIVB.

 

2. All matches are going to be played according to the FIVB rules of the game.

 

3. The participating teams are going to be separated into groups, depending on the age of the players. Once placed into a group, each team is going to play against all of the teams placed in the same age group.

 

4. In case there are too many teams in a certain age group - more than one group is going to be formed. After the group matches, all teams will continue to the round of direct eliminations.

 

5. The winning-team in the matches from the group stage gets 3 (three) points (in case the score is 3:0 or 3:1) or 2 (two) points (in case the score is 3:2). The loosing-team gets 1 (one) point (in case the score is 2:3) or 0 (zero) points (in case the score is 0:3 or 1:3). 

 

6. The team with the most points in each group will be declared “winner of the group”. And if there are no other teams in the same age group – will be declared “winner of the tournament”. If two or more teams have equal number of points, the following regulations will be applied, in order to define the winner or the team, which qualifies for the next round:

   - The result from the match between the teams with equal number of points

   - Won-lost set difference

   - Game-point difference

 

7. Regulations regarding the number of sets to be played in the volleyball matches. If the sets are even - a tie-break (till 15 points) will be played in the final set:

   - 3 (three) out of 5 (five) games – for the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 age groups

   - 2 (two) out of 3 (three) games – for the 2010 and 2011 age groups
